Our Factories
BDFC Brazil- Cruzeiro, Sao-Paulo, Brazil.
Acquired ten years ago, BDFC Brazil is B&D's first production subsidiary.
The Factory is located between the Brazilian states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and is a short drive to the international harbors of Santos and Rio.
This factory is uniquely able to produce both instant and roasted coffees as well
as a variety of ready-to-drink beverages.

We have undertaken major renovations in the Brazilian factory
which will increase productions levels and reduce energy expenditures.
We expect the Factory to be up-and-running in April 2008.
The Canaan Group- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
On January 24, 2008, B&D signed the agreement to become
the lead shareholder of the three Canaan Entities:
Socan Produtos Alimentícios Ltda.
Formed in 1959, Socan is Brazil’s 12th largest coffee roaster,
capable of roasting over 36,000 Mton\Year.
The company is a major player in southern Brazil
and controls three of Rio de Janeiro's most popular brands
Café Maroccos
Café Canaan
Cafe Mendense
Leite Canaan Indústria e Comércio Ltda.
Leite Canaan is a powdered milk processor capable of processing
50,000 gallons/day into 16.7 Mtons/Day of powdered milk.
The Company began working in full capacity in the beginning
of 2008, after B&D successfully secured the full milk supply for the factory.
Geskan Indústria e Comércio Ltda.
The youngest of all subsidiaries, Geskan is a Food-Service company,
capable of producing and distributing large amounts of easy-to-use capsules
and machines for home and office and use.
Factory capabilities:
2 Gino Rossi Machines- 1400 pods/hour each
1 THM machine- 2,500 pods/hour.
The demand for these items is steadily rising among Rio
and Sao-Paulo offices and private homes.
Ethiopian Factory - Construction to begin in 6 months
B&D plans to construct a large instant and roasted coffee processing facility in Ethiopia.
The factory, intended to be fully operational in the coming 24-36 months,
is expected to be one of the largest coffee processing plants in Africa.
